A native of Venezuela, Mr. Giraldi has nearly 25 years’ experience in international finance, specializing in Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, and Consumer Goods. Mr. Giraldi first joined Packers Plus as its Controller, moving to the position of CFO in 2010. Since then, he has contributed to the strategic vision, growth management and internationalization of the company.

In his capacity as CFO, Mr. Giraldi is responsible for designing and executing the cash management, investing program and hedging policy of the company, in order to mitigate risks and maximize the yield of Packers Plus assets. Under his execution, the company is positioned to finance its operations, capital expenditures and growth strategy.

Mr. Giraldi holds a Bachelor in Business with a Major in Accounting as well as continued graduated studies in International Taxation. Most recently, he received his Masters in Economics. He is fluent in English, Portuguese, Italian and his native Spanish.

Tracey Beaudoin

General Counsel

In her current role, Ms. Beaudoin advises the executive, directors and business unit leaders regarding corporate, legal and operational risks as well as current legal issues affecting operations. She also manages the intellectual property portfolio and the company’s litigation. Ms. Beaudoin has been heavily involved in the company’s acquisitions and manages the corporate structure and its legal entities. The insurance group also falls under Ms. Beaudoin’s responsibility.

Previous to Packers Plus, Ms. Beaudoin worked in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for the London law firm Trowers and Hamlins LLP where her focus lied in major construction projects undertaken throughout the Middle East. Prior to Trowers, Tracey worked in-house at EPCOR, an electric utility company based out of Edmonton, Alberta. Here, Ms. Beaudoin was primarily responsible for working on major construction projects, joint ventures and transactional work. Ms. Beaudoin also worked at the law firm Bennett Jones LLP for several years, where she performed mainly transactional and commercial work, predominately for the energy industry.

Tracey graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an Bachelor of Laws in 1999.

Stuart Wilson

President & CEO

Mr. Wilson provides leadership to the senior management team and is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategic initiatives at Packers Plus.

Mr. Wilson has over 24 years of industry experience, having worked with a major steel manufacturing company and major energy services company prior to joining Packers Plus. Mr. Wilson has vast global experience and has worked in all major basins around the world. He began his career as a Field Engineer in Norway and worked in the North Sea region in the early years of his career. He later moved to Houston and managed the thru-tubing packer business as the Global Product Line Champion. Mr. Wilson then became the Regional Technical Manager in Moscow, covering all coiled tubing operations in Russia and the surrounding area. Subsequently, he worked as the Operations Manager for the far east Russia region based in Sakhalin. From 2007 onwards, Mr. Wilson worked in the Middle East region, living in Saudi Arabia and Dubai, UAE, focusing on several key projects and accounts with particular focus on Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, and Egypt. Mr. Wilson moved to Packers Plus in 2014 and held the positions of General Manager and Eastern Hemisphere Director. A central theme to his career has been working intimately with customers in developing and applying new technology to improve both productivity and ultimate recovery from oil, gas, and gas condensate reservoirs.

Mr. Wilson earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, and a master’s degree in Business and Operations Management from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in Trondheim, Norway. He is the author of many technical papers and publications on multi-stage completion technologies, and completion and coiled tubing new technologies. He was named a World Oil New Horizons Award finalist for one of his authored publications.

Mr. Wilson currently resides in Dubai with his wife and two teenage children, where they take pleasure in a wide range of sporting and cultural activities.

Ken Paltzat

Co-Founder & Director

Mr. Paltzat brings over 30 years of operational experience to Packers Plus and has helped establish a culture of operational excellence at the company. As senior advisor to the board of directors, Mr. Paltzat provides strategic guidance to the long-term Packers Plus operational strategy.

Mr. Paltzat enjoys spending time outdoors and is happiest when golfing, camping, fishing and bicycling.

 

Peter Krabben

Co-Founder & Director

Mr. Krabben is a Co-Founder and Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors with over 30 years of experience in down-hole completions systems. Mr. Krabben brings his extensive international oil and gas knowledge and has enabled the company to become a global leader in completions technology. As senior advisor to the board of directors, Mr. Krabben also provides strategic guidance to the long-term Packers Plus operational strategy.

In his free time, Mr. Krabben is a proud hockey dad.

 

Dan Themig

Co-founder and Director

Mr. Themig prototyped technologies that revolutionized the oil and gas industry and enabled producers to economically access reserves in unconventional plays. Over his 30 year career, he has served in various engineering and technical positions in Canada and the US, and has been involved in advanced horizontal and multilateral projects worldwide. In 2000, Mr. Themig and two partners started Packers Plus in Canada; today, the company has a presence in 32 countries worldwide.

Mr. Themig holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Oklahoma State University. He is a registered professional engineer and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). He also serves on the board of directors for several energy industry companies. Mr. Themig received the 2010 SPE Meritorious Engineering Award, the 2012 Sproule Innovation and Achievement award, holds more than a dozen patents and has authored numerous technical articles.

An avid mountain climber, Mr. Themig married his wife Karen near the Base Camp of Mount Everest. He currently resides in Calgary and enjoys spending time on his ranch with his family.
