Swellable Zonal Isolation
The Packers Plus SwellPLUS™ packers provide an economical solution for achieving annular isolation in multi-stage completion systems. The elastomer element is specially designed to maintain a high pressure rating during stimulation and throughout the life of the well. This innovative, field-proven packer allows for effective zonal isolation regardless of well geometry. During setting operations, activation fluid is absorbed into the SwellPLUS packer over a period of time by diffusion, enabling the packer to swell and seal against the wellbore.
Because Packers Plus multi-stage completion systems are modular with regard to tool placement, SwellPLUS packers can be combined with a variety of Packers Plus tools and systems, enabling customized design for targeted delivery of the stimulation program.

The SwellPLUS packer has no moving parts and the elastomer element expands upon contact with activation fluid, sealing against the wellbore. The time required for the packer to swell and hold the required pressure is determined by the downhole conditions, activation fluid composition and the element design. The specially designed elastomer element is capable of withstanding varying temperatures that ensures reliable zonal isolation during stimulation operations and throughout the life of the well.
The SwellPLUS Acid Isolation Sub-Assembly consists of two SwellPLUS packers and a single RockSEAL® H2 packer that is hydraulically set. The SwellPLUS Acid Isolation Sub-Assembly is specially designed to provide annular isolation in multi-stage completion systems, during stimulation and throughout the life of the well. The sub-assembly combines innovative elastomers from two different packer models to provide reliable high-pressure zonal isolation in the most challenging wellbore conditions.
