Tammy Stewart – Database Controller – Edmonton, AB
A graduate from the University of Alberta, Tammy completed a Bachelor of Education but has worked in various business positions throughout her career, including receptionist and accountant. She has been working in the oil and gas industry for several years and was originally hired at Packers Plus on a part-time basis to assist in inventory and export documents as the company’s International and North American exports began to climb.
Having worked in the oil and gas industry for many years, Tammy has experience working in NAV in a manufacturing environment and this was a big help when Packers Plus decided to upgrade their inventory system. Tammy and her team helped fill in the gaps with product knowledge and work together to implement processes and procedures that could accommodate the very quick growth Packers Plus was experiencing.
Tammy is well suited to a job that allows her to collaborate and solve problems and she loves a good mystery. “Coming to work each day is a new experience with another opportunity to learn. This makes for an exciting life full of challenges and one never has the opportunity to get bored. We have a great team of people who are willing to help as much as you are willing to learn. Wael El-Mofty – Area Manager, Middle East
Originally from the land of the Nile Pharos and magnificent pyramids, Wael El-Mofty graduated from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Having enjoyed working on major oil platforms in the GoM and the North Sea for more than 14 years followed by more than 10 years in various management positions with major service companies, Wael is more than qualified for his position at Packers Plus as Area Manager, Middle east. Initially, Wael’s main tasks included building the foundation for the StackFRAC® technology ramp up in Saudi Aramco and helping to position Packers Plus on the right track to harvest the largest market share of business in Saudi Arabia. Recently Wael was also asked to look after Kuwait, Oman and the rest of the Middle East, which is an area full of emerging potential for StackFRAC technology due to their focus on unconventional gas production and development.
One of the first things Wael realized about Packers Plus is that the attractive family-spirit is not only evident in the Eastern Hemisphere group but Packers Plus is actually a family across the board in all locations.
When Wael manages to get a few hours to himself he enjoys riding and customizing his Harley Davidson Street Glide that he bought a few weeks after settling in Saudi Arabia.
